The 'Run Farther' programme was developed in Halton by local running instructors Brian Bidwell and Greg Nelson. The clinic includes lectures on subjects of importance to all runners.
The clinic takes a fresh approach to recreational distance running. It is not regimented. Each participant sets his or her pace and distance. 'Run Farther' has been designed to teach runners to increase their distance and enjoy doing it.
Clinic instructors Brian Bidwell and Greg Nelson are seasoned runners and instructors. Nelson has successfully completed 19 Marathons and 2 Ultra Marathons plus numerous shorter distance races. Bidwell's leadership at many Store running clinics and his passion for running have introduced the sport to thousands of area runners.
Clinic cost is $60.00, which includes manual and t-shirt.
