the same socks you run in

foot swells during the day, so always shop for shoes in
the afternoon
- Always
check your sizes, sometimes with different brands the fit can
vary
- Buy
a shoe based on your needs and running style. Know how
much your plan to run and how far before shopping
- Do
not buy lightweight shoes for training; these should
only be used for races
- Don't
buy for color or looks
- Never
race a new pair of shoes; try them out walking and
training first
- If
you have orthotics bring them with you
Fitting
Tips
- Length
can be found by determining if there is a full thumb.
